Detectives Investigating Fatal Shooting at North Seattle Encampment

Detectives are investigating after a man was shot and killed at an encampment in North Seattle on Sunday night.

At 9:49 PM police responded to an encampment near North 96th Street and Aurora Avenue North for reports that someone had been shot. Police and firefighters arrived at the scene and found an adult male shooting victim. Officers and Seattle Fire Department medics attempted life saving measures, but medics eventually declared the 38-year-old man deceased.

Homicide Detectives responded to the scene and will continue to investigate.
