In the midst of a painful divorce and intense legal drama, actress Denise Richards was spotted out and about in Los Angeles — and fans couldn’t help but notice something strikingly different about her appearance.

Stepping Out With Visible Scars

Denise, 54, was seen in Calabasas this week with her daughter, Sami Sheen, 21.

What caught everyone’s attention wasn’t just the rare public appearance — it was the visible incisions and bruises on her face.

With her hair pulled back in a loose bun, the “Bond” actress appeared to have surgical marks around her temples and ears, and noticeable bruising near her eyes.

The outing quickly fueled speculation that she may have recently undergone cosmetic surgery.

Plastic Surgeon Weighs In

Dr. Giselle Prado-Wright, a respected cosmetic surgeon who viewed photos of Richards (but did not treat her), suggested that the visible swelling and symmetrical scarring strongly point to a recent brow lift or temporal facelift.

According to Dr. Prado-Wright, the placement and appearance of the incisions align with less invasive facial procedures aimed at lifting and smoothing the upper face.

She estimated Denise is likely just under two weeks post-op.

Denise Hasn’t Confirmed Anything

Despite the noticeable changes, Denise hasn’t publicly addressed the speculation or confirmed any recent surgeries.

Her team has also not responded to media requests for comment.

It’s worth noting she has previously spoken about getting breast implants and Botox, so plastic enhancements wouldn’t be entirely out of the question.

Legal Battle With Estranged Husband Aaron Phypers

All of this comes amid serious legal and personal turmoil in Denise’s life.

Her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, filed for divorce earlier this month, citing “irreconcilable differences” and listing their official separation as July 4.

But things quickly took a darker turn when Denise filed for a domestic violence restraining order just days later.

In court documents, Denise accused Aaron of horrific physical abuse throughout their relationship.

She alleged he choked her, slapped her, and left her with multiple concussions — even claiming he used surveillance devices to monitor her without her knowledge.

A Frightening July 4 Incident

Denise described a disturbing incident that allegedly happened over the July 4 holiday weekend.

According to her, Aaron screamed at her using vulgar language, got aggressively close to her face, and struck the brim of her hat, knocking it off.

She also provided graphic photos of herself with a swollen, black eye as part of her court filing.

Aaron Phypers Denies Everything

Aaron, 52, has firmly denied the abuse allegations.

He claims the injuries seen in Denise’s photos came from a drunken fall — something he says has happened before.

In his own court filings, he suggested that Denise filed for a restraining order to distract from her alleged affair.

He says he found text messages on her laptop that hinted at a secret romance and plans for a hotel meetup.

He Claims She Smashed His Phone

Phypers further claimed that during their explosive July 4 weekend, Denise allegedly hit and scratched him — and later destroyed his phone by throwing it in the recycling bin.

He believes she did this to hide messages that could prove she was unfaithful.

According to him, Denise texted his mother about filing for divorce, which led him to file first.

A Complicated Relationship History

Denise and Aaron tied the knot in 2018 after dating for less than a year.

Their relationship started with its own controversy — Aaron hadn’t officially finalized his divorce from actress Nicollette Sheridan when he began dating Denise.

Despite the rocky beginning, they married and Aaron later adopted Denise’s youngest daughter, Eloise.

Before Aaron, Denise was famously married to Charlie Sheen.

The couple divorced in 2006 while she was pregnant with their second daughter, Sami.

She adopted Eloise in 2011 and has spoken openly over the years about her struggles, including past issues with addiction.

A Public Battle Over Finances

As if things weren’t messy enough, Aaron is now asking for $105,000 per month in spousal support, claiming he has no income after shutting down his clinic last year.

He says Denise is earning $250,000 monthly, largely through her now-canceled reality show and her OnlyFans account.

A Story Still Unfolding

With shocking claims on both sides, visible scars sparking fresh headlines, and a contentious legal battle in full swing, this story is far from over.

Whether Denise chooses to speak publicly about her health and the alleged procedures — or her ongoing legal war with Aaron — remains to be seen.
