David Tennant’s Wife Faces Horrifying Online Abuse and Threats While Raising Five Children in London

David Tennant’s wife, Georgia Tennant, has once again been forced to involve the police after receiving shocking and vile death threats on social media.

The 40-year-old actress shared the terrifying messages on her Instagram Stories, showing that some trolls are taking their abuse to alarming extremes.

Horrific Messages Spur Police Involvement

In the messages, Georgia was branded a “dirty w****” and told she deserved to “die for good.”

Some went so far as to cruelly refer to her as the “ex-wife of David Tennant” and call her “disgusting” while telling her to “return to the streets” where she came from.

Sharing screenshots of the threats, Georgia tagged both the Metropolitan Police and Instagram, urging them to step in and take action.

Family Life Under Threat

Georgia and David Tennant, 54, have been married since 2011 and share five children: Olive, 14; Wilfred, 12; Doris, 10; and Birdie, five.

Georgia also has a 23-year-old son, Ty, from a previous relationship.

This is not the first time the couple has faced online harassment.

Back in September, Georgia revealed she has a stalker who allegedly offered a reward for her murder on social media.

She even reached out to Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg directly in a desperate bid for action.

One of the threats she shared at the time read:

“Whoever kills Georgia Tennant immediately will receive a reward from me.”

Sweet Tribute Amid Dark Times

Earlier this year, Georgia shared a heartfelt post celebrating 17 years since she and David first started dating.

She posted a gallery of snaps from their relationship and gushed about her husband, calling him “kind, funny, and relentlessly generous.”

She also teased him lightly after he missed out on a BAFTA Television Award for his role in Disney+’s Rivals. Georgia wrote:

“17 years since we became us. I am so relieved I get to do it all with you.

My kind, funny, relentlessly generous, Bafta-less love. You are it x.”

The couple met in 2008 while Georgia starred in Doctor Who as Jenny, the genetically engineered daughter of David Tennant’s character, and married three years later.

David Tennant’s BAFTA Disappointment

David Tennant had been nominated for Leading Actor in a Drama for his performance in Rivals but lost to Lennie James for Mr Loverman.

Despite the praise he’s received for the role, filming for a second series is already underway, keeping fans excited about his ongoing work.

Genius Game Flops Despite ITV Investment

Meanwhile, Tennant’s latest TV venture hasn’t fared as well.

The actor hosted Genius Game for ITV, a prime-time reality game show with mental challenges, which cost the channel over £2.5 million to produce.

A television insider explained:

“The Genius Game was ITV’s attempt to create the next big challenge show after the success of The Traitors.

Tennant was chosen because he’s a household name, but his fee added significantly to the production costs.

Despite this investment, the show hasn’t delivered in ratings.”

The first episode attracted 1.2 million viewers, but numbers quickly fell to 846,000 by episode two, and have continued to drop.

ITV has now decided to reduce the show from two episodes a week to just one.

What’s Next for the Tennants

Between grappling with terrifying online threats and navigating professional highs and lows, David and Georgia Tennant’s lives remain under intense public scrutiny.

While Georgia calls on the authorities to intervene, David continues to pursue acting projects and television work — even if the ratings haven’t quite matched expectations.
