A teenage boy has been arrested in the connection of the double murder of two family members of singer Craig Lucas.
Warren and Arlene Lucas – the brother and sister-in-law of the Cape Town star – were brutally gunned down in their Brackenfell home over the weekend
Police now claim that the teen – who Daily Voice alleges is a family relative – will undergo a mental evaluation.

On Sunday evening Warren and Arlene – both 37 – were shot dead in their home.
Daily Voice reports that the couple were parents to two children – aged seven and 15 years old.

According to police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg, the alleged murder is under investigation.
He told media: “The circumstances surrounding a shooting incident last night at about 6pm in Sharon Crescent, Protea Heights, Brackenfell, where a 37-year-old male and a 37-year-old female were shot and fatally wounded are under investigation. Brackenfell police are investigating a double murder case.
“According to reports, Brackenfell police attended to the crime scene where they found the victims with gunshot wounds to their bodies. The victims were declared deceased on the scene by paramedics. A 15-year-old suspect was arrested and will be evaluated.”
According to Daily Voice, Craig Lucas was “too distraught” to speak to the media. His family confirmed the “grave tragedy and loss” in a statement.
