This September, Johannesburg will come alive with the return of the Corona Sunsets Festival, marking a century of the Corona brand with music, art, and unforgettable sunset moments.

Festival-goers can expect a mix of local talent, international stars, and immersive experiences that go far beyond just music.

Star-Studded Line-Up and Headliners

Set to take place on Saturday, 13 September 2025, at Casalinga in Muldersdrift, the festival promises a day packed with energy and sound.

South African heavyweights Major League DJz and DBN Gogo will headline alongside 340 ML, bringing their signature beats to the Johannesburg crowd.

International Afro-House sensation AMÉMÉ joins the roster, having collaborated with DJ Jamie Jones and Black Coffee, while Jeremy Loops returns to South Africa following his critically acclaimed 2025 Glastonbury performance.

Cape Town electronic duo Crazy White Boy will team up with Johannesburg-born vocalist Nonku Phiri for a soulful, one-of-a-kind performance.

An Expansive Array of Artists

With over twenty performers across two stages, the festival celebrates both local and global talent.

Fans can look forward to performances by South African icons like Zakes Bantwini, DJ Kent, Culoe De Song, and Oscar Mbo.

The Ndlovu Youth Choir promises to captivate audiences with their breathtaking harmonies and stage presence, while FKA Mash brings international remix flair, having performed in Ibiza and released music on the prestigious Anjunadeep and Keinemusik labels.

This eclectic line-up ensures festival-goers experience a vibrant musical journey spanning multiple genres.

More Than Just Music

True to its global “More Than Music” ethos, the Corona Sunsets Festival offers art, food, and immersive activities alongside the performances.

Festival-goers can enjoy eco-conscious cuisine made from locally sourced ingredients, perfectly complementing the breathtaking sunset moments.

Interactive art installations will highlight South African creativity, inviting attendees to explore and engage with visual storytelling.

This year’s festival also celebrates Corona’s centennial and shines a spotlight on South Africa’s stunning coastlines, from Kraalbaai and Boulders Beach to Nature’s Valley and Camps Bay.

SABC to Broadcast the Festival Live

Adding to the excitement, SABC has been announced as the official broadcaster of the Corona Sunsets Festival.

The festival will air live from 20:00–22:00 on SABC 1, bringing the celebration to viewers across South Africa.
