Conor McGregor made an appearance in the dressing room of Ryan Garcia after his knockout defeat to Gervonta Davis, leaving fans of the sport puzzled.

The UFC fighter, who has had one professional boxing bout against Floyd Mayweather, gave some advice to the beaten lightweight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

In a video posted to social media by Garcia, McGregor can be heard saying, “He’s 1-0 on you.

You’re the two biggest names in the division, I wanna see it again.

I wanna see it again now and I wanna see it with no rehydration clause. All the respect in the world to you, you’re the future.”

Some fans questioned McGregor’s expertise in boxing and why he was giving advice to Garcia, while others found the whole situation comedic.

However, Garcia himself appreciated the support from the two-weight former UFC champion, and vowed to come back stronger after the defeat.

The defeat was a tough blow for Garcia, who had gone through “fire” to prepare for the fight.

But his positive attitude and determination to come back stronger are commendable.
