After a pulsating night at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Conor Benn has confidently announced that the long-running Benn-Eubank saga has finally reached its conclusion.
The 29-year-old dominated Chris Eubank Jr to level their personal head-to-head and reclaim family pride in a rivalry that has spanned more than three decades.
Benn’s performance earned him a unanimous victory with scorecards reading 119-107, 116-110, and 118-108.
The result avenged his April defeat and gave the Benn family their first win in the historic series, which stretches back to the 1990s when Conor’s father, Nigel, faced Chris Eubank Sr twice—winning one fight and drawing the other.
A Clear Message From Conor Benn
Immediately after the fight, Benn spoke to DAZN with a mix of pride, relief, and determination.
He was eager to end any speculation about a third clash and lay out his next goals in the ring.
“I want to thank everyone who came out tonight. It’s been some journey,” Benn said.
“This is the end of the Benn-Eubank saga, over. Chris has twins coming and I have my boy, but this ends here.
Everyone says I can’t box—well, put that in your pipe and smoke it.”
Benn also paid tribute to his opponent and their fathers, noting the generational significance of the rivalry.
“Credit to Chris, thank you for sharing the ring with me. Not bad for two silver spoon kids,” he added.
Looking ahead, Benn set his sights on world titles, targeting top names across the welterweight and super-lightweight divisions.
“I fancy Barrios for the WBC world title, Ryan Garcia, Rolly Romero, Devin Haney… all of them Yanks can get it.
Any day of the week, and twice on Sundays,” he said with characteristic confidence.
Eubank Jr Offers Respect Despite the Loss
Chris Eubank Jr, 36, was gracious in defeat, admitting that Benn was the better man on the night.
He hinted that issues in the lead-up may have affected his performance but left the door open for the possibility of a future meeting.
“I’ve been through hell and back to get to this night, it is what it is,” Eubank Jr said.
“I tried my best, the kid fought hard, he has power.
We put on a show—Benn was the better man tonight. It’s 1-1. I have to go away and deal with some of the things I’ve been dealing with over the past few months.
Who knows, maybe we will see something new with me and him, or maybe we won’t. Right now, it’s his night.”
A Historic Rivalry Comes to an End
With this win, Conor Benn has not only avenged his loss but also brought a close to one of British boxing’s most storied family rivalries.
From the clash of their fathers in the 1990s to tonight’s high-stakes rematch, the Benn-Eubank saga has been a tale of generations, pride, and undeniable skill inside the ring.
As Benn looks to conquer world titles and Eubank Jr contemplates his next move, fans are left reflecting on a night of high drama, power punches, and a rivalry that has delivered unforgettable moments—and perhaps the final chapter—at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
