Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, a conservative representative from Florida, recently revealed a jaw-dropping UFO sighting from her time in the U.S. Air Force.

Speaking candidly on the Joe Rogan Experience, Luna described an encounter that left her questioning what really exists beyond our skies.

The 36-year-old lawmaker, known for her MAGA-aligned stance and outspoken nature, shared the story during a more than two-hour discussion with UFC commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan, giving listeners a firsthand glimpse into what she believes was an extraterrestrial experience.

The Mysterious Airspace Incursion

Luna explained that while serving as an air manager at the Portland Air National Guard, she witnessed what the government now calls an unidentified anomalous phenomenon, or UAP.

Unlike the traditional term UFO, UAP is used to describe unexplained aerial sightings without implying an extraterrestrial origin.

“There was an airspace incursion that was oddly swept under the rug,” Luna recalled.

She spoke with pilots at the time, asking, “What was that?” Their response was brief and evasive: “We can’t really talk about it.”

From her perspective, this mysterious event clearly qualified as a UAP.

A Rational Approach to UFOs

Luna emphasized that she doesn’t view UFOs through a “crazy lens.”

She noted bluntly, “You never know if we’re the only ones out there.”

Over the years, she has consistently argued that some UAPs are “not of human origin” and has called for greater transparency from the federal government.

She also dismissed the idea that people reporting such sightings are “crazy,” claiming that the label is part of a disinformation campaign meant to silence witnesses.

“We know that the U.S. government has not exactly been clean about a lot of what they’ve done with the American people, specifically regarding UFOs,” she said.

Pushing for Government Transparency

As a member of the House Committee on Oversight, Luna has been at the forefront of congressional efforts to investigate UAPs.

The committee has repeatedly urged federal officials to provide disclosure, especially regarding incursions near sensitive military installations.

A November 2024 press release from the committee highlighted the need for transparency: “Congress and the American people have fundamental questions on the topic of UAPs and incursions near sensitive military installations.

Increased disclosure and transparency are needed to provide security and information.”

Threats and Whistleblowers

Luna has not hesitated to escalate matters. In August 2023, she threatened to defund Pentagon officials’ salaries if they refused to share information about alleged UFO programs.

This followed testimony from intelligence veteran David Grusch, who claimed under oath that he had evidence of a secret alien ship crash retrieval program, including photos and insider interviews.

Encounters With “Men in Black”

Her pursuit of the truth has sometimes put her in the spotlight in unexpected ways.

Luna recounted a classified meeting with Air Force whistleblowers where she firmly believed the aircraft she observed were of non-human origin.

She claimed that during this meeting, she was shadowed by Pentagon officials and CIA agents—her nod to the “Men in Black” trope from pop culture, meant to intimidate or keep witnesses quiet.

“Being a member of Oversight, we follow up with whistleblowers, and we also can conduct our own investigations,” she explained, underscoring her determination to dig deeper despite government resistance.

A Persistent Advocate

Whether it’s pushing for transparency, questioning government secrecy, or recounting her personal experiences, Luna has made UAPs a defining issue of her political career.

Her combination of military experience, congressional authority, and outspoken advocacy ensures that the conversation around UFOs and UAPs remains very much alive in the halls of power—and now, for millions of podcast listeners.
