Job Title: Communication / Brand Strategist
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Reports to: Head of Operations
Employment Type: Full Time
We are looking to employ a Communications / Brand Strategist with exceptional Creative, writing and designing skills, a strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.
The candidate must have a keen interest in driving strategic messages to key internal and external role-players through several creative options.
Create and implement comprehensive strategic marketing and communications plan to further AMG’s mission and strategic plan and to increase awareness of its business.
. Manage AMG’s varied and integrated communications channels including web, email, social media, public and media relations, and marketing collateral.
Revamp company’s website, rebrand logos, banners, brochures, marketing materials etc.
Research and write press releases, content for the company website, infographics, blogs, newsletters and manage all AMG’s Social Media platforms.
Manage the organization’s digital presence. Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand, and coordinate publicity events as required.
Arrange and coordinate press conferences, and plan events where necessary.
Drive social media engagement (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) through comprehensive digital and social media strategies
Adhere to the company’s style guide, ensuring that we produce high-quality and error-free copy and creatives.
Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company’s strategy and in support of various brand initiatives.
Monitor real estate-related news via print, web, and social media sources. Support and evaluate results of communication campaigns with the team.
Work across the organization with the management team, programs team and admin team to identify media moments, develop and implement relevant materials and media outreaches.
Generate innovative ways to gain quality media coverage across all channels.
Manage the company’s website and brand in it’s entirety.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, or any related field.
Minimum of 2- 4 years’ relevant experience in a communications/branding role. Communications strategy development in real estate is a requirement.
Knowledge of Graphics, use of Adobe, Corel draw or Photoshop software
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, good time management, organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems, and social media platforms.
Ability to multitask and key into Organization’s goals
Attention to Details and Social/ Emotional Intelligence.
Excellent Social Media and IT management skills.
Must be hands-on and highly experienced in crafting and executing creative PR messaging and multi-channel media campaigns.
Must be familiar with market trends, have outstanding knowledge and contacts within the real estate media landscape and an in-depth understanding of how to scale PR globally.
Must be comfortable and confident in direct communication with journalists, bloggers and influencers, you must have experience managing campaigns and partner with remote employees and resources.
