Closure of Gilmour Hill to vehicular traffic

The National Battlefields Commission wishes to advise motorists of a closure of Gilmour Hill for preventative strengthening works during the following periods:

• from Tuesday, October 12, at 4 a.m., to Monday, October 18, at 5 p.m., full closure;
• from Tuesday, October 19, to Friday, October 22, partial closure.

During the partial closure, the Hill will be open to traffic in alternating directions, up the Hill in the day (6 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and down the Hill in the evening (3 p.m. to 6 a.m.).

The Plains of Abraham Trail will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists.
