Chelsea Fans Lament as Drogba Says He Doesn’t Recognize the Club Anymore

Didier Drogba’s recent comments about his former club, Chelsea, have left fans of the club heartbroken.

Drogba was a key figure in Chelsea’s era of dominance following Roman Abramovich’s takeover in 2003.

However, the Ivorian legend believes the Blues have lost the class they once possessed since Abramovich sold the club to Todd Bohely last summer.

According to Drogba, they need to return to basics to get back on track, as they sit 11th in the Premier League and were dumped out of the Champions League by Real Madrid.

Drogba shared his thoughts on Canal+, ahead of the club’s European mauling and said, “I knew this club with a certain class during the Abramovich era, but today I find it lacking.

They should go back to the principles and values they had.

Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to express their sorrow over Drogba’s words.

Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Real Madrid on Tuesday night was a further indication of Drogba’s criticism of the club.

It was their fourth consecutive loss under Frank Lampard, who became the first manager in the 118-year history of Chelsea to lose each of their first four matches in charge of the club.
