Following the death of former Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman over the weekend after battling bone cancer, tributes have poured in from stars across the UK.

BBC Breakfast’s weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, who appeared on the show in 2015 while Len was still a judge, was among those to offer praise for the professional dancer and judge.

Old clips of Carol appeared on the screen, showing her in glamorous ballgowns while speaking of Len.

Carol was among the many celebrities to offer tribute to Len Goodman, describing him as a kind and generous man.

The footage of Carol in glamorous ballgowns was a stark contrast to her usual business attire on BBC Breakfast, but it was a welcome sight for fans nonetheless.

Many of Len’s former Strictly co-stars and contestants have also shared their fond memories of him.

Clips of Len offering feedback to Carol with his signature weather analogies were shown, including one occasion where he referred to her as a “ray of sunshine.”
