Following the death of former Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman over the weekend after battling bone cancer, tributes have poured in from stars across the UK.
BBC Breakfast’s weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, who appeared on the show in 2015 while Len was still a judge, was among those to offer praise for the professional dancer and judge.
Old clips of Carol appeared on the screen, showing her in glamorous ballgowns while speaking of Len.
Carol was among the many celebrities to offer tribute to Len Goodman, describing him as a kind and generous man.
She reminisced about her first dance on Strictly, during which she was incredibly nervous, and how Len used a weather analogy to reassure her.
The footage of Carol in glamorous ballgowns was a stark contrast to her usual business attire on BBC Breakfast, but it was a welcome sight for fans nonetheless.
Many of Len’s former Strictly co-stars and contestants have also shared their fond memories of him.
Clips of Len offering feedback to Carol with his signature weather analogies were shown, including one occasion where he referred to her as a “ray of sunshine.”
The death of Len Goodman has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be sorely missed. However, his legacy will live on through the fond memories and kind words shared by those who knew him.
