For Cara Delevingne, 2025 is shaping up to be a year of new beginnings.
Just a year after watching her $7 million Los Angeles mansion go up in flames, the model and actress has made a bold comeback move—snapping up Jennifer Lawrence’s former Beverly Hills home for a reported $11 million.
Life Among A-List Neighbors
The 33-year-old British star won’t be short of star-studded company in her new neighborhood.
Adele, Nicole Kidman, and Cameron Diaz are all nearby, adding to the area’s already glamorous reputation.
The house itself has quite the celebrity history too—it was once owned by Jessica Simpson before Jennifer Lawrence bought it in 2014.
Inside the Luxury Mansion
The lavish property boasts five bedrooms and five-and-a-half bathrooms, with a master suite that comes complete with a walk-in closet and private balcony overlooking lush gardens.
The downstairs features a spacious all-white kitchen fitted with sleek stainless-steel appliances, while outside, Cara will enjoy a pool surrounded by towering bamboo and trees, ensuring total privacy.
Rising From the Ashes
The purchase comes after a devastating fire in March 2024 destroyed Cara’s previous LA mansion.
She had to sell what was left of the property for a $2.4 million loss. The blaze ripped off the roof, left the second story in ruins, and filled the downstairs with wreckage.
Fortunately, Cara wasn’t home—she was in London performing in a West End production of Cabaret—and her beloved pets were unharmed.
Choosing Strength Over Sadness
Cara has been open about how staying sober helped her through the trauma.
Speaking to The Times last year, she admitted: “It sucks, but everyone was safe and, like anything, if I’d not been sober I would still be reeling over that.
Of course it affected me, it’s super sad … it never won’t be. But I don’t use it as a tool to keep myself sad.”
What Caused the Blaze?
Investigators eventually declared the cause of the fire “undetermined,” with no signs of foul play.
Cara’s father, Charles, later suggested it might have been electrical issues made worse by high winds in the area.
One firefighter was hospitalized with injuries, and a resident suffered smoke inhalation, but no lives were lost.
Grateful for First Responders
In the immediate aftermath, Cara turned to Instagram to thank firefighters and everyone who rushed to help.
She also reminded her followers how fragile life can be, writing: “Life can change in the blink of an eye … so cherish what you have.”
Moving Forward
With this new Beverly Hills mansion, Cara seems ready to turn the page on that painful chapter.
The move not only symbolizes resilience but also gives her a fresh space to rebuild, surrounded by fellow Hollywood stars.
After the devastation of last year, this home is more than just a house—it’s a statement of survival and starting again.
