Canadian Family Vows To Get Justice For Their 19-Year-Old Stabbed To Death

Ashley Wadsworth, 19, was stabbed just days before flying home from a vacation to England to see her 23-year-old British lover, Jack Sepple, whom she met online, on November 12th, 2021.
At 4 p.m. on Tuesday, she was discovered after a ‘disturbance’ at an address in Chelmsford, Essex.
Wadsworth was scheduled to fly home to Vernon, British Columbia, on Thursday to see her family. Her boyfriend was arrested and charged with murder.
Hailey, Wadsworth’s grieving older sister, swore to seek justice for her brother. “My sad baby sister, we will get justice baby girl I love you so much I miss you every day your big sissy loves you,” she posted on Facebook.
A neighbour, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said: “The police were called late yesterday afternoon and the whole street was crawling with officers.
“We could see the paramedics go into the living room of the house and they were working on someone for a while.
“They brought the young lady out into the road just outside the property and were continuing to try and save her.
“The police were talking about stab injuries. It seems that she was the victim of a frenzied attack. But the medics couldn’t save her. It was awful to watch.’
According to Essex Police, officers were called to a disturbance at a home in Tennyson Rd, yesterday afternoon.
Despite the efforts of paramedics, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Senior Investigating Officer, DCI Scott Egerton, said: “We are at the early stages of our investigation and are working to build a picture of what happened yesterday.
“This incident took place in a residential area so I know it’s likely to cause concern for those living nearby but we have made a quick arrest and do not believe there is a risk to the wider public.
“There will continue to be a visible police presence in the area throughout today.
“If you have any concerns or any information please come and speak to one of our officers.”
The deceased had posted a photograph of herself with Jack on Facebook on Sunday night and made the image her profile picture.
She had previously posted images of the couple smiling and enjoying sightseeing trips around Chelmsford and London.
The couple enjoyed a day out in the capital on January 9 to celebrate Jack’s birthday, in which they visited Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.
