Our newly magnificent ultra-modern office and professional staff who are inclined with the use of Global Distribution System (GDS) (World Span, Amadeus and Galileo, Sabre) are available to cater for all travel needs.A dynamic company in the Travel and Tours Industry, with presence in Lagos and Abuja requires a Business Development Manager.
Identify and cultivate new travel agencies or agents that can help to cost- effectively grow product distribution.
Generate new business relationships with High Net Worth Individuals as well as Corporate Clients, Agents, Families, Educational bodies, Religious bodies and Associations e.t.c.
Manage existing relationships with key accounts – in both the Public and Private Sectors.
Develop an innovative sales and calling strategy, to achieve the sales targets for the company that prioritizes agencies by productivity and potentials
Liaise with Agents to solve client problems, partner with Agents on sales and marketing, and keep Agents informed/updated about the company’s products
Manage the creation of Sales Presentations, Marketing Collateral, Emails, Newsletters and Trade shows.
Analyze sales reports for key trends and provide Weekly Sales/Marketing Updates on activities and opportunities.
Participate and host familiarization trips as required
Job Qualifications & Attributes
A good first degree from a reputable educational institution
Possession of a higher degree and/or relevant professional qualifications in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Travel and Tours industry
Demonstrated successful sales history in the travel industry
An understanding of the sales process, including commission structures, marketing plans and incentives
Excellent communicator; good public speaker and ability to develop and deliver presentations to Prospects, Agency and Consumer Audiences
Must be proactive, creative and self-motivated, with strong networking/strategic marketing skills and ability to think “out of the box”
Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
