What is it about summer holidays that seems to bring out the worst in some travellers?

While many jet off hoping for sunshine, cocktails, and Instagram-worthy moments, a growing number of holidaymakers seem to be trading sun hats for punches.

The latest chaos unfolded in the middle of a beach party in Zakynthos, Greece—and the wild footage is already making waves online.

Brawl Breaks Out at Greek Island White Party

In what was supposed to be a fun-filled night at a beach club in Zakynthos, a group of British tourists found themselves at the centre of an all-out brawl.

Shirtless young men in white shorts were seen throwing punches at several older men—also wearing white—in the middle of a crowd.

From the footage, it seemed like even the fighters weren’t sure who they were meant to be swinging at.

At one point, an older man forcefully kicked another before grabbing someone by the shirt.

All of it happening in front of stunned onlookers who had gathered for a carefree night of dancing.

The chaos, which broke out during what was ironically called “The White Party,” quickly spiralled out of control.

Bar Staff Try to Cool Tempers—Literally

In a desperate attempt to break things up, what looked like a member of staff hurled a bucket of ice water over the brawling crowd.

But the cold shock did little to stop the madness.

Just moments later, fists were flying again and the scuffle only intensified.

One clip doing the rounds on social media shows a younger man landing a solid punch to an older man’s face, prompting laughter and disbelief from the surrounding partygoers.

Some looked on with amusement, others in disbelief—many pulling out their phones rather than stepping in.

From Snapping a Picture to Throwing Punches

One commenter claimed the whole thing started when someone tried to take a photo and asked the group to move.

It’s unclear who they were referring to, but that small interaction seems to have snowballed into full-blown mayhem.

“Absolute sausages, may as well just stay at home,” one unimpressed viewer wrote.

Another joked, “Great to see Brits abroad enjoying themselves! Enjoy your holidays, boys.”

Police and Organisers Stay Quiet

So far, authorities in Zakynthos and organisers of the White Party have declined to comment.

But the incident is just the latest in a string of violent encounters involving tourists abroad this summer—and it’s beginning to raise eyebrows.

Ibiza Fight Leaves Tourist Unconscious

Just last week in Ibiza, another shocking incident unfolded at the Marco Polo hotel in San Antonio.

A fight erupted poolside, ending with one woman being knocked unconscious after a plastic chair was hurled at her head.

Incredibly, the brawl carried on even as she lay motionless on the ground.

During the scuffle, one of the aggressors even fell into the pool after colliding with her.

Later, MailOnline identified the man at the centre of that altercation as professional footballer Kian Harratt, currently playing for Oldham Athletic.

Harratt claimed the fight was triggered by a “6’6 bully” who attacked his friend first.

British Tourist Knocked Out Cold in Benidorm

In another alarming holiday incident, a British man was violently knocked to the floor by a local during a bar brawl in Benidorm.

The man, who had been asked to leave the bar, was shoved by a group of men before taking a brutal sucker-punch to the face.

He crumpled to the ground, his leg bending unnaturally beneath him.

A woman wearing a pink cowboy hat rushed over to help, crouching beside him as the brawl continued just inches away.

An eyewitness described the scene, saying, “It’s always the d***head Brits – it makes you ashamed to be a Brit sometimes.”

What’s Causing These Holiday Meltdowns?

Whether it’s too much alcohol, overcrowded venues, or just simmering tension among groups of strangers, holiday hotspots across Europe are seeing an uptick in bad behaviour.

From Greece to Ibiza to Spain, the trend of boozy brawls abroad is turning once-idyllic getaways into viral punch-up zones.

So while many are heading off this summer in search of rest and relaxation, some seem more interested in chaos than cocktails.

Here’s hoping the next beach party is remembered for the music, not the mayhem.
