Three criminals stole £10,000 worth of mobile phones from a Tesco in broad daylight, as seen on shocking video.
At approximately 3 p.m., the robbers entered the business in Crawley, Sussex without attempting to conceal their identities before stealing handfuls of mobile phones.
On December 29, stunned staff and customers witnessed two individuals pulling phones from their holders, ripping off security bands, and smashing the display.
CCTV footage shows the burglars conversing in the store before taking smartphones worth thousands of pounds and fleeing the store without being detained.
The burglars stole cell phones from the store’s display cases before fleeing.
Police have appealed to the public for assistance in identifying three males who stole cell phones worth £10,000 from a Tesco in Crawley, Sussex.
After the raid, the men can be seen racing into an alleyway while holding the phones by their security tags.
The burglars stole an iPhone 14 Pro Max, an iPhone 14 Plus, an iPhone 13, and a Motorola G62, among other expensive electronics.
The Sussex Police stated that they are attempting to identify the three thieves, but no arrests have been made as of yet.
All three individuals are described as being between 5’10” and 6′ tall and in their early 20s.
One had short brown hair and a neatly trimmed beard and wore grey pants and black sneakers, while the other had a green baseball cap, light jeans, and a long black coat.
CCTV footage recorded the three crooks entering the Tesco store prior to the robbery.
Customers and employees at the Tesco in Crawley were astonished as the men seized the smartphones.
The burglars then fled the store carrying equipment worth thousands of pounds.
After committing the audacious robbery at around 3 p.m. on December 29th, they were seen running through an alley.
The third man was observed sporting a woolen cap, a blue t-shirt, and a knee-length Nike jacket in black.
Anyone with information regarding the theft on Hazelwick Avenue in Crawley was urged to contact the police.
Sussex Police stated, “Any information regarding the identity of the three men or anything pertinent to the ongoing investigation can be reported to Sussex Police online or by calling 101 and referencing serial number 496 of December 30.”
