Blueberry Innovation Program Helps Food and Wellness Startups Win Funding and Mentorship in Seattle Accelerator

Blueberries aren’t just for muffins anymore — they’re becoming the heart of innovation in snacks, skincare, and even pet products.

A new accelerator program is here to shine a light on the boldest, most creative blueberry-based startups, and it’s offering more than just guidance.

There’s money, mentorship, and major exposure on the table.

A Launchpad for Blueberry-Based Startups

This new nine-week hybrid accelerator, known as the Blueberry Boost Accelerator, is all about giving early-stage, revenue-generating businesses the tools to grow fast.

The goal? Help startups using blueberries as a key ingredient to connect with big names in the blueberry, food, and consumer goods industries.

And it’s not just about meetings and advice.

This program packs a punch with professional brand materials like commercials and sales decks, media buzz, and direct links to investors, buyers, and top innovators.

Pitch Perfect and Prize-Ready

Each participating startup will get one-on-one support to polish their pitch and prepare to show off their product in a big way — at The Blueberry Convention in Seattle, happening October 8–10.

The stakes are sweet: the top winner walks away with $20,000, while the runner-up scores $10,000. It’s more than prize money — it’s a chance to make a real splash in the market.

What Kind of Products Are They Looking For?

If blueberries play a lead role in your product, you could be in.

The accelerator is open to a wide mix of consumer packaged goods (CPG) categories, including:

  • Healthy and indulgent snacks

  • Frozen foods and treats

  • Beverages, including alcoholic drinks

  • Candy and sweets

  • Skincare or beauty products

  • Wellness or performance-enhancing products

  • Ready-to-eat meals

  • Sauces and dressings

  • Even pet goodies

The only big requirement? You must have a safe, working prototype that meets USDA standards.

How to Apply and What’s Next

Think your blueberry-based product has potential? Applications are open now and will be accepted on a rolling basis until July 11, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT.

This is your shot to take something juicy and turn it into something big — with expert backing, serious visibility, and a shot at real prize money.
