Newly released images from Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous 50th birthday book have stirred controversy, featuring a handwritten letter from former President Bill Clinton praising Epstein’s so-called “childlike curiosity” and a disturbing cartoon depicting Epstein with young girls.
The release comes alongside similar materials allegedly linked to Donald Trump, putting two former U.S. presidents in the media spotlight simultaneously.
Clinton’s Handwritten Message Surfaces
The letter, published for the first time by the House Oversight Committee, was written in 2003 for Epstein’s birthday gift organized by Ghislaine Maxwell.
In a single paragraph, Clinton praised Epstein for his “childlike curiosity” and the friendships he had cultivated over the years.
“It’s reassuring isn’t it, to have lasted as long, across all the years of learning and knowing, adventures and [illegible word], and also to have your childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference and the solace of friends,” the note read in Clinton’s handwriting, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Clinton has consistently stated that he was unaware of Epstein’s criminal activities, and all inquiries to his office for comment have yet to yield a public response.
A Disturbing Cartoon Emerges
Alongside the letter, an illustration by an unknown artist depicts Epstein in 1983 offering balloons and candy to children and later, in 2003, being massaged by topless girls as a jet, presumably Epstein’s “Lolita Express,” flies overhead. The cartoon, captioned “What a great country!”, was sent to Epstein just a year before the first investigations into his sex crimes began.
The Birthday Book’s Contents and Maxwell’s Role
Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime associate and former girlfriend, compiled the materials into a birthday book for Epstein.
She reportedly requested drawings, photos, and stories from his friends, including public figures, for his 50th birthday in 2003.
Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in Epstein’s crimes.
According to reports, the book included a note allegedly written by Trump: “A pal is a wonderful thing.
Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”
Trump has denied authoring the note, calling it fake, and filed a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal over the report.
Controversial Images from Mar-a-Lago
Another image from the birthday book shows a Mar-a-Lago member joking with Epstein about selling a “fully depreciated” woman to Donald Trump for $22,500.
The note, attributed to Joel Pashcow, stirred outrage.
The woman mentioned in the image denied knowledge of the letter and condemned it as a “disgusting and deeply disturbing hoax.”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and other aides swiftly denied the authenticity of the note, calling it “fake news” and a “Democrat Epstein Hoax,” while Trump continued to insist the investigation itself is politically motivated.
Partisan Reactions and Oversight Committee Release
The House Oversight Committee, chaired by Republican Rep. James Comer, has been reviewing documents from Epstein’s estate.
Democrats claim only a small fraction of the 33,000 pages received from Attorney General Pam Bondi’s office contained new information, primarily Customs and Border Protection flight logs for Epstein’s jet between 2000 and 2014.
Rep. Robert Garcia, the committee’s Democratic ranking member, accused Trump of lying about the notes and obstructing transparency: “Now we know that Donald Trump was lying and is doing everything he can to cover up the truth.
Enough of the games and lies, release the full files now.”
Trump’s Ongoing Defense
Trump has repeatedly labeled the Epstein files as a “Democrat hoax,” claiming Democrats only show concern for victims after Epstein’s death.
On Truth Social, he accused the party of befriending Epstein while he was alive and questioned the timing of their public interest.
The White House has released examples of Trump’s verified signature to counter claims linking him to the birthday note.
What’s Next in the Epstein Investigation
With the release of Epstein’s birthday book and related documents, public attention remains focused on the overlap between Epstein’s network and high-profile figures.
While legal battles continue over authenticity, the revelations have reignited debates about accountability, political bias, and the long shadow of Epstein’s criminal activities.
