Biden Picks Nigerian-Born Enoh Ebong As Director Of Trade

Following her appointment by the American President in February 2021, Ebong has been serving as the Acting Director of the USTDA. She had worked for the agency in a variety of capacities between 2004 and 2019, most recently as General Counsel and Deputy Director.

Ebong worked at the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream as the Director of Strategic Alliances, where she oversaw the creation of strategic partnerships to improve access to education, health, financial empowerment, and entrepreneurship.

She practised law at the Boston office of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. representing public and private companies in offerings, financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance issues.

Ebong earned her JD from the University of Michigan Law School, a Master of Arts in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Arts in History, with honours, from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

A member of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Bar. Ebong was born in Nigeria and spent her formative years there. She resides in Washington, D.C.
