Doma United, another NPFL club, booked their place in the quarterfinals with a convincing 2-0 victory over the lesser-known team, Edel FC, in Abuja.
Bidemi Owoku and Daniel Barnabas found the back of the net in the first half, scoring within a four-minute interval to secure the win for Doma United.
EFCC FC Falls Short Against 10-Man Sunshine Stars
In a thrilling encounter, EFCC FC, a Nigeria National League (NNL) club, faced a 3-2 defeat against a 10-man Sunshine Stars side.
