In a thrilling encounter, EFCC FC, a Nigeria National League (NNL) club, faced a 3-2 defeat against a 10-man Sunshine Stars side.

Nasarawa United’s hopes of progressing in the Federation Cup were dashed by Kwara United, the same team that relegated them from the NPFL.

Kwara United emerged victorious against Nasarawa United, eliminating them from the competition with a 52nd-minute penalty kick converted by Samad Kadri.
