While many 19-year-olds might spend their summer chasing love, Barron Trump has been taking a different path.
The youngest son of former President Donald Trump is turning his attention toward building his business ambitions, putting romance on hold for the time being.
Summer Dedicated to Business and Career
Barron, who is just days away from returning to New York University’s Stern School of Business for his sophomore year, wrapped up his freshman year in May.
Since then, insiders say he has spent the summer networking with business partners, developing tech projects, and setting up future deals—all with a focus on his career.
“He has been actively working on his own financial interests and spending time with others involved in those areas,” a source told People.
“Still, he has spent a great deal of time with his family.”
Romance Takes a Backseat
Earlier this summer, reports suggested Barron had a girlfriend and was spending quality time with her, though the identity of the young woman was never revealed.
Sources at the time told NewsNation, “Barron has a really nice girlfriend and hangs out with her a lot.”
However, recent reports indicate that his romantic life has taken a backseat over the last few weeks.
“I don’t think that’s a big deal in his life right now,” an insider added.
“He has more school, a family who dotes on him, and a career of his own he is launching.”
Family Remains at the Heart of His Life
Despite his focus on business, Barron has kept close ties with his family.
Donald and Melania Trump, who welcomed Barron as their only child in March 2006, remain central to his support system.
His mother, in particular, has been dedicated to ensuring he thrives academically and socially at college.
“She will do everything she can to make sure Barron does well in school and is socially and mentally adjusted to his life as a college student,” a source told People in late 2024.
Even the former president has joked publicly about Melania’s affection for their son.
During a press conference, he remarked that Melania loves Barron “more than him,” highlighting her protective and caring nature.
This comment followed her well-publicized letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, advocating for the safety of children amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Looking Ahead at NYU and Beyond
Barron finished his first year at NYU in May and is on track to graduate in 2028.
As he heads back to campus, it’s clear that his priorities this summer have been shaping a future beyond college life—balancing family, academics, and budding business ventures while keeping romance on the backburner.
