Prepare dough, fillings, batters, icings and other components by measuring or weighing ingredients using graduated containers or scales to ensure uniformity.
Responsible for the creation of all bread-related goods applicable to the bakery menu.
Bake and Decorate cakes, pastries and other baked goods, including custom-made decorations for birthdays, weddings and other celebrations.
Maintain safety and sanitary standards in production areas according to the State’s Health Code and internal standards.
Actively participates in menu planning and the introduction of new products that meet established standards of quality and innovation
Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use.
Mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies.
Maintain up to date knowledge about pastry arts and ingredients
Perform routine checks on raw materials to ensure they adhere to high-quality standards and are not expired or damaged.
Inspect baked goods to ensure they are of the highest quality, and remove any damaged items before they reach the display case.
Adjust the amount of ingredients, the oven temperatures, conveyor speeds and humidity as needed so that all products come out as expected
Minimum of 5 years experience as a Baker
Must have attended Catering School
Salary range: N100,000 – 150,000
