ASHIA Enrolls Over 145,000 Beneficiaries

The Executive Secretary, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA) Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi says the agency has enrolled over one hundred and forty five thousand beneficiaries in the State.

 

Dr. Onyemaechi who disclosed this while speaking to the press in Awka, assured that the Agency is still committed to serving the beneficiaries of the scheme better at all times.

 

The medical practitioner appealed to the beneficiaries of the Insurance scheme to always access all the benefits and privileges embedded in the scheme, and as well contact the Agency through their customer care number: 08059304487   and report any challenge or difficulty encountered on daily basis in order to improve on their services

 

Dr. Onyemaechi who is also the Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on Health, and Chairman, Anambra State College of Health Technology Board of Trustees, Obosi noted that the State government is renovating various State hospitals and primary health care centres across Anambra state to enable beneficiaries of the Scheme to have easy access to their Healthcare providers wherever they reside in the State, especially hard-to- reach areas.

 

The ASHIA Executive Secretary urged affluent individuals in the State to key into the adoption model initiated by the Agency to help the poor and vulnerable in the society to benefit from the programme, which according to him, has enormous benefits.

 

With Twelve thousand naira yearly, you can be enrolled into the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency to enjoy the full benefits of the scheme which was initiated by Governor Willie Obiano’s administration.
