Arsenal’s promising young talents, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly, have earned their spots in the England squad for the upcoming Under-17 European Championship.
The selected squad features a formidable lineup, including five players from Chelsea, and one representative each from Crystal Palace and West Ham.
Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly showcased their exceptional skills during Arsenal’s remarkable journey to the final of the FA Youth Cup this season.
Their performances caught the attention of the national team selectors, and they have now been rewarded with a place in the England squad.
The future looks bright for both players, particularly Nwaneri, who made history as the youngest player to debut in the Premier League this season at just 15 years and 181 days old.
As part of the Under-17 European Championship in Hungary, Nwaneri joins a talented group of forwards, including Justin Oboavwoduo from Manchester City and Tyler Dibbling from Southampton.
England has been placed in Group D for the tournament, alongside Croatia, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
Their campaign will kick off on Thursday with a match against Croatia, where the young English talents will strive to make a mark on the championship stage.
