Quiet countryside? Not this weekend. The normally serene Cotswolds have turned into a hub of high society activity as Apple heiress and model Eve Jobs prepares to tie the knot with her fiancé, Team GB equestrian star Harry Charles.
The couple’s wedding, set to unfold over four days, is shaping up to be the society event of the year—with no expense spared.
Ceremony Set at Historic St Michael’s Church
The couple’s vows will be exchanged at the breathtaking St Michael’s and All Angels Church in Great Tew, a Grade I listed gem dating back to 1170.
It’s just a stone’s throw from the ultra-private Soho Farmhouse, where many high-profile guests are expected to stay.
On Wednesday morning, dozens of crew members arrived to begin transforming the Norman-era church into a luxury wedding venue.
They rolled out £15,000 worth of Persian rugs down the aisle, added temporary plush upholstery to the pews, and installed lighting rigs and speakers.
Giant white polystyrene balls—soon to be covered with fresh garlands—were dotted around the altar, while wicker screens were put up to ensure privacy for the bride and groom.
Even a specialist cleaning crew was brought in to give the ancient church a final polish before the big day.
Reception Preps in Full Swing at Estelle Manor
While the ceremony takes place at the church, the real party is going down at Estelle Manor—an ultra-luxe country estate where rooms start at a cool £795 a night.
Staff have been working around the clock at the venue to set up tents, stages, and other glamorous touches.
“It’s all for the Jobs wedding—it’s going to be quite the do,” said one worker moving between venues.
Another added, “This is a real takeover of the Cotswolds. They’re inviting hundreds of people and block-booking entire places.”
Estelle Manor is no stranger to massive weddings, and its expansive grounds are perfect for accommodating a guest list packed with VIPs.
Nearby Soho Farmhouse, a favorite hideaway for A-listers, adds an extra layer of glitz.
A Four-Day Affair Packed with Star Power
Eve, 27, and Harry, 26, started dating in 2022 and made their public debut together at the Paris Olympics last year.
They got engaged in September, and the wedding follows a glamorous hen party Eve hosted on Capri just last month.
Now, the celebrations are officially kicking off—set to span four luxurious days, with guests flying into Oxford Airport via private jets and being whisked to the venues by helicopter.
Who’s on the Guest List?
This isn’t your average wedding. Reports suggest the guest list is a mix of royalty, celebrities, sports legends, and major political figures.
Former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris is rumored to be attending alongside her daughter Phoebe.
Bill Gates’s daughter Jennifer is also said to be on the list, as well as Princess Beatrice.
Sir Elton John is reportedly performing for a fee of £1 million.
Other expected guests include Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders, equestrian Jessica Springsteen (daughter of Bruce), former Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s daughter Sofia, and Apple design legend Jony Ive.
According to sources, “a lot of important American political figures” are expected to make an appearance—making this one of the most international guest lists the Cotswolds have likely ever seen.
Family and Famous Friends in Attendance
Of course, Eve’s close-knit family will be part of the celebration.
Her older siblings—Reed, 33, and Erin, 29—are expected to attend. It’s not yet confirmed if her half-sister, Lisa Brennan-Jobs, will be there.
Her mother, Laurene Powell Jobs, has reportedly gone all out to plan the affair, working with elite event planner Stanlee Gatti.
Beyond family, Eve’s circle includes other billionaire kids and socialites, like Lilli Hymowitz, daughter of hedge fund magnate Gregg Hymowitz.
Final Touches Before the Big Day
With the church nearly prepped, and the grounds of Estelle Manor coming to life with activity, it’s clear that this wedding is going to be one for the ages.
Even the newly appointed vicar of St Michael’s, Canon William Burke—a former infantry officer—is expected to lead the ceremony, though he’s keeping details under wraps.
Meanwhile, workers continue setting the scene for what’s being dubbed “the wedding of the year”—a celebration where tradition meets tech-world glamour, and the world will be watching (from behind wicker screens, of course).
