The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA Campaign Council in Dunukofia Local Government Area has kicked off mobilization tour to the six towns under the council.
The tour, which began with Umudioka community, is one of the preparatory strategies to revive grassroots focus and test solidarity ratio ahead of November six governorship election in Anambra State.
Addressing the party members, the Chairman of APGA Campaign Council, Dunukofia Local Government Area, Engineer Emeka Okonkwo described, APGA’S standard bearer in the November poll, Professor Chukwuma Soludo as the best candidate to identify with, based on his unmatched credentials and deep experience.
He reminded them that among every other contestant, only Professor Soludo could follow-up on the developmental progress already initiated in Anambra State using his global networks and experience.
On his part, the APGA Chairman in Dunukofia Local Government Area, Mr Vincent Ezennia, said that Dunukofia remains an APGA entity and will always blaze the trail in its support for the party, insisting that the November election would be another walk in the park for the party.
The National Vice President, Women Wing, of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, Lady Amaka Ikwuka also called on mothers to mobilize their husbands and eligible children to vote for APGA, as the party has the interest of common man at heart
Others who spoke at the event, including the President General of Umudioka town union, Mr Chike Odoji urged the people to ensure APGA’s victory with their votes, and recounted the achievements of the party in the town, including the civic centre which was built through the community choose your project scheme of Governor Willie Obiano’s administration.
