Delegates to the state congress of the All Progressives Congress APC in Adamawa state have been charged to exhibit maturity during and after the election.
The Organizing Secretary of the party for Yola North Chapter Alhaji Usman Alam gave the charge in an interview with ABC Yola reporter on Monday.
He reminded the delegates that the election is family affairs and should not be taken as do or die, calling on the contestants vying for various offices as state executives to conduct their campaigns based on issues and in line with the guidelines of the party rolled out by the APC National caretaker committee chairman Mai Mala Buni who is also the Governor of Yobe state.
Alhaji Usman Alam called on the delegates to maintain the success recorded during the ward and local government congresses of the party which is an indication that the party is more united than before.
He however called on the delegates to re-elect the current state care taker chairman Ibrahim Bilal as state Chairman of the party on sixteen of next month based on his track record of purposeful leadership.
The organizing secretary applauded the display of sportsmanship by the caretaker committee which ensured fairness to all contestants during the ward and local government congresses.
Alhaji Usman Alam called on the party supporters who attain voting age or relocate their residency to register in the ongoing registration online by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
