Antonio Brown appears to pull a gun after brawl breaks out at influencer boxing event in Miami

What started as just another influencer-hosted boxing event quickly spiraled into a dramatic and disturbing moment on Friday night—one that’s now dominating social media.

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown was caught on camera in what looked like a dangerous altercation at the Brand Risk Warehouse in Miami, and the footage has raised more than a few eyebrows.

A Night Meant for Entertainment Turns Violent

The 36-year-old, who played more than a decade in the NFL, was in attendance for a fight night organized by popular streamer and influencer Adin Ross. But things took a sudden and violent turn.

Videos that quickly began circulating online show Brown in the middle of a physical scuffle with several men.

Brown later claimed these men were trying to rob him, targeting his jewelry and attempting to harm him.

One clip shows him being pulled to the ground by a man who was later identified as a member of the event’s security team—ironically, someone trying to protect him.

But Brown lashed out, kicking the man amidst the chaos.

Gun Allegations Stir Panic

In a separate, more alarming video, Brown can be seen reappearing from behind a car, seemingly holding a firearm.

Moments later, gunshots ring out, and the crowd around the venue scatters in panic.

The footage is intense and filled with explicit language, adding to the gravity of the situation.

Police Detainment Sparks Questions

Another video shows Brown being led away by police with his hands behind his back, adding to the confusion about whether he was arrested.

Brown, however, was quick to clarify the situation on social media.

“Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me.

I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED,” he wrote.

Miami-Dade police told TMZ that they received a call at around 3 a.m. near NE 2nd Avenue and 67th Street.

Officers canvassed the area and spoke with multiple individuals, but no one was taken into custody, and no injuries were reported. The investigation is still ongoing.

Brown’s Response and His Claim of CTE

Later that night, a shirtless Brown appeared on Adin Ross’ live stream, looking disoriented.

“I blacked out… I don’t know what happened,” he said.

Brown then mentioned that he suffers from CTE—chronic traumatic encephalopathy—a degenerative brain disease often linked to repeated head trauma, especially among former football players.

He continued describing his interaction with police, saying, “They tried to take me to the movies.

The cop was gripping me up… I’m like: ‘I didn’t do nothing bro…’”

Statement from Brown: Legal Action Could Follow

Brown eventually issued a full statement online. “Regarding the boxing event that happened last night.

I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me,” he wrote.

He reiterated that he wasn’t arrested, saying police only detained him briefly to hear his side of the story.

He also revealed plans to consult his legal team about pressing charges.

“I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me. I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process. Thank you for the support and love.”

Brown’s Controversial Post-NFL Life Continues

Since retiring from the NFL, Antonio Brown has remained in the public eye—often for all the wrong reasons.

From heated social media rants targeting figures like Tom Brady and Caitlin Clark to appearing at a rally for Donald Trump during the last presidential campaign, Brown has cultivated a reputation for controversy.

And Friday’s dramatic altercation has only added to that legacy.
