Antonio Brown, former NFL star, announced his return to the league with the Baltimore Ravens after being out of the game for over two years.
Brown was last seen playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2021 season when he walked off the field during a game with the New York Jets, leading to coach Bruce Arians declaring him no longer a Buc.
In a Twitter post, Brown stated his return to the NFL is imminent with the Ravens and shared a photo of himself wearing a Ravens jersey with the number 84.
During Brown’s exit from the NFL, he faced controversies that included livestreaming a public row with his ex-girlfriend in 2020, during which he threw a bag of penis-shaped sweets at her.
A few months ago, footage shared by the New York Post showed Brown exposing his penis in a swimming pool and whipping it in the direction of a woman, which he denied.
Some NFL fans found the announcement funny, with one person tweeting that Antonio Brown agreed to a deal with the Baltimore Ravens, but the Ravens did not agree.
Meanwhile, the Ravens have had a successful off-season, having signed Odell Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal and securing Lamar Jackson’s future with a five-year contract extension worth £207m ($260m).
