Kalinskaya once shared headlines as part of tennis’s most talked-about couple with world No. 1 Jannik Sinner.
Their romance made waves last year when the pair were spotted sharing a kiss after Sinner’s US Open triumph.
But what seemed like a fairy-tale pairing didn’t last. Within a few months, the couple decided to take a break to “better understand their future.”
Sinner later confirmed in Rome that he was single, making it clear their relationship was over.
Holger Rune’s Persistent Messages
Kalinskaya revealed on the First&Red podcast with former player Anna Chakvetadze that she’s received romantic advances from multiple players on the tour.
Most notably, she called out world No. 11 Holger Rune, who reportedly sent her ten messages before being rejected.
“Someone wrote like 10 times and then gave up. I’ll say who it is now, Holger Rune. He writes to everyone.
He thinks too much of himself… Maybe he’s just desperate, but he’s not the only one [to have messaged me],” Kalinskaya said.
Rune quickly responded on X (formerly Twitter), suggesting there was a misunderstanding.
The 22-year-old Dane wrote: “Ha ha ha. We might have cultural differences that make Anna read a comment on a story as an invitation to a date.
If I want to go for a date, I ask for a date. Don’t worry.”
Past Romance with Nick Kyrgios
Kalinskaya has also had a high-profile fling with fiery Australian Nick Kyrgios.
Their brief relationship began in 2020, when she was 21, and the pair were often seen supporting each other at tennis matches and even attending an NBA game together.
However, the romance fizzled within the same year.
Kalinskaya didn’t hold back on Instagram Live, calling Kyrgios “not a bad boy, simply a bad person.”

Fast forward three years, and Kalinskaya was linked to Sinner, sparking dating rumors in April 2024.
The Italian confirmed their relationship at the French Open, keeping details minimal: “I’m with Anna, yes, but we keep everything confidential.”

Yes, she’s my boyfriend’s dog, why else would I take her?” Kalinskaya shared.
When asked about her partner, she remained discreet: “He’s not an athlete. He used to do sports, but not professionally. He loves sports… but he works in finance.”
