Comedian Andrew Santino may have just secured his spot on the guest list for one of pop culture’s most anticipated weddings, after being spotted chatting with Taylor Swift at a Kansas City Chiefs game.
Just weeks ago, Santino expressed doubts about making the A-list nuptials of Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce, joking that the pop sensation “controls that guest list.”
Swift Returns to the Stadium in Style
The singer, fresh off the release of her twelfth studio album The Life of a Showgirl, made a low-key return to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday to watch Kelce and the Chiefs face off against the Detroit Lions.
True to her 2025 season trend, Swift entered the venue without drawing attention, but cameras soon caught her enjoying the game from a luxury VIP suite.
Alongside the WNBA star Caitlin Clark and future father-in-law Ed Kelce, Swift was later seen laughing and chatting with Santino, clearly enjoying the 30-17 victory.
The sighting delighted fans, though it also raised eyebrows given Santino’s earlier remarks about possibly missing out on the wedding.
Santino’s Earlier Comments Stirred Fan Reactions
In mid-September, Santino had admitted on the Pardon My Take podcast that he doubted he’d receive an invite to the celebrity wedding.
“I don’t think I got that invite… Trav is my boy. I love him to death, but I highly doubt it,” he said, adding humorously that he would happily attend the bachelor party instead of the wedding.
Social media reacted strongly, with some fans branding the comedian a “a**hole” for appearing to criticize Swift.
Others insisted the pop star and Kelce would manage the guest list together, highlighting that long-time loyal friends would likely still make the cut.
Longstanding Friendship with Travis Kelce
Santino’s comments weren’t meant as a jab at Swift but rather as a lighthearted acknowledgment of his position on the periphery of the couple’s personal life.
He and Kelce have shared a close friendship for years, with the NFL star appearing on Santino’s Whiskey Ginger podcast in 2019.
Santino reciprocated by joining Kelce and his brother Jason on their New Heights podcast last year.
The two friends have also spent time off the mic together, hitting the golf course alongside Justin Timberlake at the pop star’s 8AM Golf Invitational in Las Vegas.
Santino has previously shared photos with both Kelce and Swift at Chiefs games, making Sunday’s encounter a familiar scene for fans.
Watching History Unfold
While Santino may still be testing the waters of his potential wedding invite, the images of him enjoying the Chiefs game alongside Taylor Swift suggest that his friendship with Kelce remains strong—and that he might just be part of the inner circle when the couple ties the knot.
