Anambra State Police Commissioner CP Tony Olofu Visits Crime Scenes, Condemns Attacks And Public Disturbance In Anambra

Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Tony Olofu, has expressed great concern over the series of security breaches that have taken place within the State recently, ordering tactical Commanders of the Command to immediately put an end to the ugly trend

The Police Commissioner gave the order today, Wednesday 29th, 2021 when he led senior police officers from the command on- the- spot assessment to the crime scenes.

In a statement signed after the inspection by the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, CP Olofu who regretted the unfortunate loss of lives and valuables sued for calm, adding that the Command has collaborated with other security agencies in the State to decisively deal with the perpetrators.

He implored members of the public, to continue to partner with the Police with a view of containing these atrocious acts and stressed the readiness of the Command in flushing out these perpetrators and make the entire State safer for law-abiding citizens to go about their lawful businesses.

Areas visited were, Afor Nkpor, Obosi, Agulu, and Oba.
