The member representing Anambra West Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Honourable Patrick Obalim-Udoba has been inducted into the hall of fame of the Integrity Icon of Nigeria (IION) by the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Evaluation.
The award was given to him at the Anambra State House of Assembly Complex Hall, Awka.
Integrity Icon of Nigeria is an award for effective and efficient representation, and was given to Honourable Udoba, having been ranked amongst the top one hundred most ethically responsible State legislators in Nigeria.
Centre for Ethics and Self Value Examination is non-governmental organization that promotes anti-corruption, good governance, ethical education and self value orientation of the citizens.
Handing over the award to the Lawmaker, the Executive Director of the organization, Prince Saliah Musa Yakubu described Honourable Udoba as a legislator that is highly accessible by his people and one who delivers dividends of democracy to his constituents, as they have had his name resounds in more than six local government areas beyond his Constituency, which is one of the benchmarks they used to honour legislators for the past fifteen years.
Receiving the award, Honourable Udoba thanked the organization for honoring him with the meritorious award and described the team as professionals who are focused in the upliftment of good governance in Nigeria.
Correspondent Chibuzor Okoye reports that the group equally promised to train one hundred teachers in Anambra West Local Government Area.
Highlights of the event was the presentation of Gold medal, certificate of credence, Letter of Authority for the insertion of Honorific title in Honourable Udoba’s name and Certificate of ethical leadership conduct compliance award.
