The Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Transport, Mrs Felicia Okika, has described the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, as a political party for the progressives.

Speaking to the ABS at the Dr Alex Ekwueme square in Awka shortly after the inauguration of APGA campaign for the November sixth governorship election in Anambra State, Mrs Okika said the party has brought sustainable development in the State.

According to Mrs Okika, APGA has changed the face of Awka and turned it into a befitting State capital, noting that the three fly over bridges in the metropolis, the light up Anambra project, the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport at Umueri, as well as the International Conference Center in Awka, are clear indications that  Governor Obiano is committed to transforming the State.

Mrs Okika used the opportunity to call on the Anambra electorate to vote for the standard bearer of APGA in the November sixth governorship election, Professor Soludo, to ensure continuity in the programmes and policies of Governor Obiano.

She described Professor Soludo and his running mate, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, as a trusted pair that will take Anambra State to greater heights, and cautioned the people against mortgaging their conscience in the election.
