In a world where everyone’s got something to say about your looks online, Amor Vittone is reminding people that how she presents herself is her choice—and she’s not apologizing for it.

The South African singer and media personality, who’s been in the public eye for decades, is pushing back at critics who’ve taken issue with her use of filters on social media.

Critics Call Her Out—And Amor Fires Right Back

During a recent chat on Jacaranda FM, the 53-year-old entertainer didn’t shy away from addressing the criticism she’s been getting about her photos.

“Let’s be real,” she said. “People secretly want to do what you do, but instead they judge from the sidelines.”

Amor explained that filters aren’t about trying to look younger or completely changing her appearance.

“It’s about presenting the best version of myself,” she said.

“You put on makeup, you style your hair—it’s the same idea.”

She added that feeling confident is what really matters.

“If I feel pretty and confident, that’s what I want to put out there.

That confidence shines through.”

Social Media Buzzes About Her Youthful Look

Amor’s fresh-faced selfies have gotten people talking.

Whether it’s admiration or suspicion, the internet has plenty of opinions.

But one thing’s for sure—people have noticed how radiant she looks in her posts.

“No Botox, No Fillers—Relax!”

Despite the online speculation, Amor has made it crystal clear: she hasn’t had Botox or fillers.

Even though she once dated a plastic surgeon, she insists her appearance is all thanks to great makeup, good lighting, and maybe a subtle filter here and there.

In fact, she directly addressed the chatter late last year in one of her social media comment sections:

“Can you just relax? No Botox or fillers,” she wrote in Afrikaans.

Her glow, she says, is all-natural—with just a touch of digital help.

Filters or Not—It’s All About Confidence

Amor’s message is simple: if using a filter makes you feel better about your photos, go for it.

It’s not about deceiving anyone—it’s about enhancing what’s already there.

And if it helps her feel her best? Then who has the right to judge?
