Alison Hammond’s return to This Morning left fans in awe as she made her much-anticipated comeback after a brief break.
The beloved presenter, who typically co-hosts with Dermot O’Leary every Friday, had been replaced by Josie Gibson and Sian Welby in recent weeks.
But on Monday, April 14, Alison returned with a fresh new look that stole the spotlight.
A New Look for a New Season
Alison, 50, surprised viewers not just with her presence but with a striking style transformation.
She styled her hair in a chic half-up, half-down bun, allowing her voluminous curls to cascade past her shoulders, a departure from her usual sleek waves.
Along with her bold hairstyle, Alison turned heads with a fashionable ensemble—animal print heels, a crisp white blouse, and a deep burgundy skirt, all of which highlighted her towering height next to co-host Dermot O’Leary.
“I’m nervous, I feel like I’m out of the flow. It’s good to see you, Dermot.
And yes, I’m wearing heels,” Alison humorously remarked upon her return.
She also shared the playful exchange with her stylist, Rachel, saying, “I asked for flat shoes, but Rachel insisted on these heels. She wasn’t having it.”
A Warm Welcome from Fans
The excitement was palpable among This Morning fans, who flooded social media with praise for Alison’s return. Many gushed over her fabulous hair and radiant presence.
One fan posted on X, “Alison looks amazing, the hair is everything!” while another commented, “Love the hair, Alison, you look amazing—welcome back.”
Others were quick to offer playful nods, like “Ali-shone!” and “Yay, the vibes are back on the show, Alison and Dermot.”
Guests and Highlights During Alison’s Absence
While Alison was away, This Morning welcomed a variety of interesting guests.
Among them was Billie Dee, the daughter of Celebrity Big Brother star Trisha Goddard.
Billie Dee, 35, opened up about her mother’s health journey, which inspired her to take part in the CBB challenge.
“My mum is passionate about talking about cancer and living with life-limiting conditions,” Billie explained.
“This felt like the right time for me to represent those facing similar struggles, especially with the challenges many are enduring due to cuts to personal independent payments.”
