Alex Jones accused of hiding Sandy Hook money

The Sandy Hook murder victims’ relatives believe that Alex Jones is concealing assets in order to avoid paying the millions of dollars he owes them as a result of the defamation action he lost, despite his claim that he is now bankrupt.

In a declaration in bankruptcy court in Houston, the relatives of nine victims have demanded that Jones give up ownership of his business, Free Speech Systems. They say that he has “systematically moved millions of dollars” to himself and others in order to conceal money from the families.

According to the complaint, Jones Company’s finances should be reviewed, and his authority to manage Infowars’ finances should be constrained. According to the news source, Free Speech Systems would also be released by the bankruptcy trustee.

In the complaint, Jones was charged with diverting approximately $62 million from Free Speech Systems, which began in 2018 when the first lawsuit from the Sandy Hook family was filed.

According to the attorney for the relatives of the Sandy Hook victims, he set up a false debt to avoid paying compensation.

According to The New York Times, he alleges in the bankruptcy declaration that PQPR Holdings, a business he and his parents allegedly control and run, owes them $54 million.

Jones is the creator of Infowars, a far-right conspiracy theory and fake news website that is run by Free Speech Systems, the parent business of which he founded 23 years ago.

A Texas jury ordered Jones to pay the Sandy Hook massacre victims’ families nearly $50 million in damages earlier this month after he spread a bizarre conspiracy theory asserting that the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, on December 14, 2012, never took place and was staged.

Six adults and twenty children between the ages of six and seven were slain when Adam Lanza, then 20 years old, went on a shooting rampage.

Kyle Farrar, an attorney representing the Sandy Hook family, disputes Jones’ bankruptcy and asserts that he is inventing these schemes to hide money and avoid accountability.

In part, he remarked, “Alex Jones is not morally bankrupt; he is financially bankrupt,” according to Mediate.

According to one of Jones’ bankruptcy attorneys, R.J. Shannon, who spoke to The Latest York Times on Thursday, Jones is anticipated to respond to the new motion shortly.
