Alan Carr and Amanda Holden Open Stunning Andalucían Townhouse for Holiday Guests in Moclín, Spain, Following Full Renovation on BBC One Show

Fans of BBC One’s Amanda & Alan’s Spanish Job can now step into the show themselves.

The stunning Andalucían-style townhouse that comedians Alan Carr and Amanda Holden transformed on the series is officially open for bookings.

After rescuing the crumbling 100-year-old property in Granada for just €65,000 (£55,000), the duo turned it into a spectacular holiday home – and now travellers can experience it firsthand.

Step Inside Casa Alamanda Moclín

From 24 September, holidaymakers can stay at Casa Alamanda Moclín, a beautifully restored three-bedroom townhouse in the charming village of Moclín.

Every corner of the property reflects Amanda and Alan’s signature style, offering guests a modern twist on authentic southern Spanish living.

Inside, visitors will find three themed double bedrooms, including the famous Moroccan Bedroom.

This room features a hand-carved ceiling, a King-sized bed, and French doors that open onto Juliet balconies.

There are also two airy bathrooms, a rustic dining and reception room, a charming kitchen and breakfast area, and a plush London club-inspired games and bar room.

Outdoor Spaces with Panoramic Views

The townhouse isn’t just about indoor charm. Guests can enjoy private patios and a roof terrace offering breathtaking views over the village and surrounding hills – perfect for lounging in the sun or enjoying a quiet evening under the Andalucían sky.

Explore the Historic Village of Moclín

Nestled in the northwest hills of Granada Province, Moclín is steeped in history and character.

The 13th-century village, once a strategic base during the 1486 Reconquista led by Catholic Monarchs Isabel and Ferdinand, still impresses with its panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada and the ancient Nasrid castle.

Today, Moclín is a vibrant cultural hub, home to around 3,500 people and hosting more than a dozen lively fiestas throughout the year.

Outdoor enthusiasts can explore scenic trails like the Ruta del Gollizno, a hidden gem rivaling the famous Caminito del Rey – without the crowds.

Its location also makes it possible to combine skiing in the Sierra Nevada with beach trips to the nearby Costa Tropical.

Booking Details and Seasonal Rates

Casa Alamanda Moclín welcomes guests year-round, with rates starting at €195 (£170) per night or €1,365 (£1,190) for a week during low season.

High-season rates rise to €225 (£196) per night or €1,575 (£1,373) for a seven-night stay.

A Home with a Heart

Amanda and Alan no longer own Casa Alamanda, having listed it earlier this year for €245,000 (£208,335).

The property was quickly snapped up by Nicola and Mickey Walters from Wales after receiving 35 offers worldwide.

In keeping with the spirit of the original owners, all proceeds from the sale went to Comic Relief and Children in Need.

The new owners have pledged to donate 15% of all rental income to Moclín’s women’s association, continuing the townhouse’s legacy of giving back to the local community.
