A passenger on a flight to London Heathrow was reported to have pulled a female cabin crew’s hair before getting into a brawl with staff, resulting in the flight having to return to Delhi.


The male passenger was understood to have pulled her hair just 15 minutes after takeoff, before later attacking other members of staff.

Despite receiving warnings, the passenger continued to cause physical harm to members of the cabin crew, prompting the pilot to decide to return to Delhi and remove the passenger from the flight.

Air India has confirmed that the passenger was handed over to security personnel upon landing, and an FIR has also been lodged with the police.
