While most of the Osbourne family has lived loudly in the public eye, one member has always chosen a quieter path.
Over the weekend, fans were stunned when Aimee Osbourne, the eldest daughter of Ozzy and Sharon, was spotted in Manchester, looking drastically different during a rare public outing.
Aimee, now 41, showed off a noticeably slimmed-down look as she left a hotel with Wes Leavins, lead singer of the rising band Brigitte Calls Me Baby, who are currently touring the UK.
It was a far cry from the Hollywood chaos she grew up in—and deliberately stepped away from.
Sharon and Aimee Recently Reunited in LA
This Manchester sighting follows a recent public appearance Aimee made with her mother Sharon Osbourne, 72, in Los Angeles.
Sharon herself has been candid about the toll Ozempic, a weight-loss drug, has taken on her health, which may explain the family’s new leaner looks.
Despite being part of one of the most famously chaotic families in reality TV history, Aimee has consistently chosen to remain behind the scenes.
While Kelly, 40, and Jack, 39, became household names thanks to MTV’s The Osbournes, Aimee opted out—literally.
Why Aimee Refused to Be on The Osbournes
Aimee was around 16 years old when MTV cameras descended on the Osbourne household in the early 2000s.
Instead of joining the show, she moved out entirely.
Looking back, she said she was still figuring herself out and didn’t want to do it with the world watching.
“Why on earth would I want that portrayed on television?” she told The Independent in 2015.
She felt that being filmed would be invasive, not just for her, but for her entire family, especially her younger siblings.
Her mom Sharon echoed that sentiment on The Talk in 2018, saying: “She hated the idea — it was appalling to her… I regret every day that she left. It broke my heart when she moved.”
From Wuthering Heights to ARO: Aimee’s Creative Career
Though she never sought fame through reality TV, Aimee didn’t shy away from creativity.
She appeared in MTV’s musical adaptation of Wuthering Heights in 2003, and by 2015, she had launched a music career under the name ARO—short for Aimee Rachel Osbourne.
Her first single, Raining Gold, marked a new chapter in her artistic journey, away from family drama and toward her own vision.
A Complicated Relationship with Kelly, a Close Bond with Jack
Not every sibling bond in the Osbourne family has stayed strong.
In 2021, Kelly Osbourne opened up on Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert, revealing that she and Aimee had been estranged for years.
“We don’t talk,” Kelly said. “We’re just really different.
She doesn’t understand me and I don’t understand her.”
Aimee had a similar take in a previous interview, saying that while there was a mutual acceptance, they didn’t socialize
. But when it comes to Jack, the story’s different.
Working with Jack on a New Osbourne Biopic
Unlike her tense relationship with Kelly, Aimee shares a close professional bond with Jack Osbourne.
The two run Osbourne Media together and are currently co-producing a biopic about their famous parents.
The project is still in the works, but it’s a sign that Aimee hasn’t entirely left the Osbourne legacy behind—she’s just choosing to shape it on her own terms.
