‘Actually, I was dizzy’: Mohale Motaung on his marriage to Somizi

Actor and radio presenter Mohale Motaung says he was “dizzy” throughout his marriage to media personality Somizi Mhlongo via a tweet on 2 February.

MOHALE WAS ‘DIZZY’ DURING HIS MARRIAGE

Mohale Motaung clapped back at a Tweep after he tweeted about being “dizzy”. The estranged husband of Somizi Mhlongo said that the SMEG blender made him dizzy.

“I just got dizzy,” he tweeted.

A Tweep responded saying that Mohale was not dizzy throughout his marriage.

“Yet you were never dizzy throughout that marriage? Hun, not you please,” wrote @NothyZungu.

So, Mohale replied saying he was in fact, “dizzy” throughout his marriage.

“Actually, I was dizzy,” he wrote.

WHY IS ‘SOMHALE’ GETTING DIVORCED?

Mohale accused Somizi of physically and psychologically abusing him in leaked audio clips.

“I took my keys and walked out, he took a knife. I was about to exit, so he said to me, ‘if you exit… I’m going to kill us both.’ So I took my keys and ran. He grabbed the knife and said ‘if you walk out, I’m going to stab you.’ Now I see a different person. I was sh*t scared and walked back into the house. He said ‘let’s talk.’ He cried and we moved on,” said Mohale.

Somizi denied the abuse allegations made against him, but confirmed their divorce.

“Our relationship has had its ups and downs but I have never been physically or knowingly emotionally abusive towards my estranged husband. I vehemently deny the allegations of criminal acts towards him and would like to clear my name of that defamation,” wrote Somizi.
“What I am going to state, however, is that we had one altercation in which I had to defend myself and both of us were physically hurt by the other. I am, at this stage, not at liberty to dive deeper into the details but can state that he is not a victim in this situation,” he continued.
