ABU DECLARES FEBRUARY 7TH LECTURE-FREE DAY

RESOLUTION OF ASUU-ABU CONGRESS MEETING HELD ON 3RD FEBRUARY, 2022 AT ABDULLAHI SMITH LECTURE THEATRE
The Congress of Academic Staff Union of Universities, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Branch met and deliberated on the report of Memorandum of Action (MOA) signed between Federal Government of Nigeria and Academic Staff Union of Universities (FGN/ASUU) and the level of its implementation After deliberation on the matter, the Congress resolved to declare Monday 7th February, 2022 as lecture free day to mobilize its members, stakeholders (students and general public) in protest to the action of Government towards the implementation of Memorandum of Action since the suspension of our last strike as directed by the National Executive Council of ASUU.
