Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be a speaker at the Psychedelic Science conference in Denver from June 19-23. The event will feature classes and workshops focusing on the world of psychedelic science.
Rodgers has previously spoken about the benefits of ayahuasca, a psychoactive tea that includes DMT, a hallucinogenic drug. He said that trying the drug led to an awakening and laid the groundwork for him to win consecutive NFL MVP awards in 2020 and 2021.
After missing the playoffs in 2022, the 39-year-old Rodgers is now at an inflection point in his NFL career. He has been in talks with the New York Jets about potentially joining them in 2023 after spending his first 18 NFL seasons on the Packers.
The Jets’ owner, general manager, head coach, and offensive coordinator flew to meet Rodgers at his home in California earlier this week in an attempt to woo him out East.
As Rodgers is under contract with the Packers, Green Bay gave the Jets permission to hold the talks. Rodgers’ potential move to the Jets could be a major change in his NFL career.»Aaron Rodgers to speak at Denver’s Psychedelic Science conference«
