Sunday morning, an apartment fire in Manhattan claimed the life of a man, according to officials.
At around 6:00 a.m., the fire broke out on the third floor of a six-story apartment building at Broadway and 204th Street in Inwood, according to fire authorities.
The victim’s identity was not disclosed.

Approximately sixty FDNY personnel battled the fire, which may have been aggravated by congested circumstances, according to the FDNY. The fire was contained at 6:37 a.m.
The victim’s identify was not revealed immediately. Fire marshals are now investigating the reason.
