The teaser, which introduces Dominic West as King Charles II and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, emphasizes the couple’s difficult marriage and details Princess Diana’s awful treatment inside the royal family.

Prime Minister John Major (Jonny Lee Miller) reportedly attempts to extinguish political fires in the upcoming season, while Prince Philip’s affair is also rumored to feature prominently.

In a dramatic moment depicting the Princess’s breakdown, the character laments, “People will never truly comprehend how difficult my life has been… Never did I have a chance.”

On November 9, the ninth season of “The Crown” will premiere.

“Elizabeth as Princess Diana gives me chills already. And Imelda as the Queen, well, similar to her portrayal of Umbridge, I would adore to despise her,” commented @MagiexMargo.
