Minister Aghogho releases her second collaborative album of the year, “Imela,” which features British singer Isabella Melodies. The hymn conveys entire thanks to God for the innumerable deeds He has performed and continues to perform.
Aghogho explained the song’s inspiration by stating, “The common English language we speak sometimes seems inadequate to communicate our heart of thanks to God, so we look for the closest language to utilize, and for me, that was the Igbo language.
This song of thanksgiving shows our desire to praise and worship God with all of our hearts.
The outstanding songs in Aghogho’s catalog continue to enrich both the Christian and non-Christian communities across the globe, and her efforts have earned her several accolades and prizes.
