Following his defeat in the 2020 election, Donald Trump ordered the total evacuation of US troops from Afghanistan and Somalia, the January 6 committee heard on Thursday.

On November 11, a document was sent to the acting secretary of defense with a deadline of January 15, 2021, shortly before President Joe Biden was to take office.

The admission was made by Republican Rep. Adam Kinzinger, who will leave Congress at the end of the year after Trump opposed his re-election.

According to Kinzinger, Trump was informed that the consequences of such an abrupt withdrawal would have been “catastrophic.”

He displayed a video of Gen. Mark Milley, the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, speaking about the continuing problems there at the time. Yes, we lost. Let the next man deal with that problem.

Congressmen claim it is evidence that Trump knew he would lose the 2020 election.
