According to the Times of London, Meghan Markle threatened to break up with Prince Harry if he didn’t openly acknowledge their relationship.

According to two unnamed insiders, Meghan handed Harry an ultimatum about their relationship, which made him freak out, according to a recent piece by Valentine Low of the Times.

According to a person who spoke to the Times, “She was saying, “If you don’t put out a statement stating I’m your girlfriend, I’m going to break up with you.”

According to an another person, Harry was “freaking out, yelling, ‘She’s going to dump me,'” and was also upset.

There are rumours that Prince Harry spoke with Jason Knauf, who served as Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry’s communications secretary at the time. According to Knauf, Harry instructed him to issue a statement confirming his connection with Meghan and denouncing the discriminatory abuse she endured at the hands of British media.

The story claims that Meghan informed Harry’s staff that she was familiar with “how the palace operated” and that “you don’t care about the girlfriend.”

“Meghan was distinct from prior royal girlfriends, as was known to Harry’s servants. She was not shy in sharing her ideas with others. She informed one of Harry’s advisors in the spring of 2017, more than six months before the pair became engaged: “I believe we both know I’m going to be one of your bosses shortly,” “According to The Times.

Insider’s request for comment was not immediately answered by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s and Buckingham Palace’s representatives.

The Duchess of Sussex was accused of intimidating two senior Buckingham Palace employees while she was a working member of the royal family, according to Low’s report from March 2021. The Times cited an email that Knauf allegedly wrote to William’s former personal assistant, in which he expressed worry “that nothing will be done.”

The article was released only a few days before Harry and Meghan’s shocking Oprah Winfrey interview was broadcast.

Some of Meghan’s former employees recanted their accusations that the duchess mistreated them, according to the royal book “Finding Freedom,” Insider’s Mikhaila Friel reported in September 2021.
