Sydney police detained man and woman for online child abuse and bestiality

A man and a woman were arrested on four counts of internet child abuse and bestiality offences and were escorted out of their Sydney house at this same minute.

Following a tip from the US Department of Homeland Security, Federal police reportedly identified the 31-year-old guy who lives with the unidentified 24-year-old lady.

Following a short court appearance on Wednesday, the two are scheduled to appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Thursday.

The Australian Federal Police and its foreign law enforcement partners are dedicated to safeguarding children, wherever they may reside, according to Detective Sergeant Navi Pandher.

Anyone who reads or distributes this content generates demand for sexually abusing and exploiting actual children, he said.

“We are working so hard to protect children and to find and hold accountable anybody who is causing them harm.”

Police reportedly discovered child abuse content on each of their personal computer devices, and have since confiscated the devices for additional forensic investigation.

The two are accused of possessing or controlling child abuse material and one count of transmitting, making accessible, publishing, distributing, or promoting child abuse material; the maximum sentence is 15 years in prison.

Both of them are accused of possessing bestiality content and of using a carriage service to transmit, make accessible, publish, distribute, or promote child abuse material.

15 years in jail is the maximum penalty.
